Otherworld Theatre’s Countess Dracula closes.

As some of you may know, I recently relocated to Chicago in August of 2019. This transition was made after taking a brief 1 year hiatus from doing theatre. Upon my return, I made my Chicago Theatre Debut in a show that I had 5 rehearsals to prepare for. I joined the cast of Countess Dracula on September 12th, Tech started on September 16th, and we opened on September 26th. I essentially had 1 week and 4 days to learn 85 pages of text, learn blocking, learn fight choreography, learn intimacy direction, learn a new dialect, and learn a dance sequence. I pushed myself beyond what I thought I was capable of, and was reminded of just how little I celebrate my greatness. And this, was indeed, a testament to my greatness and my growth as an artist. I am so proud of myself, and I’m happy to have been surrounded by my amazing cast and crew who supported me along the way. For those who showed support during this journey, thank you! And special thanks to Destiny Strothers for personally recommending me for this project
