3 Jeff Award Wins for Marie Antoinette!

Marie Antoinette and the Magical Negroes (The Story Theatre) won 3 non-equity Jeff Awards

As you may know I was in the production Marie Antoinette and the Magical Negroes (The Story Theatre) last summer! It was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had in theatre within the 5 years I’ve been acting professionally! Our show was widely loved and ended up getting extended and Jeff Recommended! Our show ended up getting nominated for 4 Jeff Awards and on March 24, 2023 we won 3 awards!!

Best Ensemble (Short Run)- Marie Antoinette and the Magical Negroes 

I am so happy that our show and is a black actors have been recognized for our work. We worked out asses off! Most of all I’m honored and humbled, as this was my first time attending the Jeff’s AND my first time winning a Jeff. I can only hope to contrite this trajectory with my career in theatre! I hope to work with this group of artists and The Story Theatre again in the years to come!
