Danyelle Monson is a Chicago-based Actor, Dancer, and Writer.
Originally from the South-Side of Chicago, Danyelle Monson is happy to be working within the Chicago Theatre scene! Stage credits include: *Marie Antoinette and the Magical Negores (The Story Theatre), Othello (Women’s Theatre Festival), The Projects (Stage Left Theatre), Titus Andronicus (Haven Theatre), Countess Dracula (Otherworld Theatre), Placing Home (Piven Theatre). Her screen credits include The Chi (Showtime), Cottage Grove (Short Film), Running Back, Still, and Delivered The Webseries (Protagonist Pizza Productions). Writing credits include: Sunshine and Broken Glass, Or; Lather, Rinse, Repeat. In addition to Acting, she is an avid dancer with experience in African dance, modern dance, burlesque, and jazz dance styles! Dance credits include: Where We’re Going and Terminal C (Dance at Illinois). Danyelle is grateful for the gift of Theatre and dedicates each performance to her beloved niece Takiya Holmes.
